Your chart of accounts is key to Entryless’ relationship with your cloud accounting. Entryless makes it easy to view your chart of accounts without having to switch over to your accounting system, as well as perform an on-demand synchronization from your cloud accounting system.
To manage expense accounts in Entryless, in the Management section, click Chart of Accounts. You’ll see the full chart of accounts from the last sync with your accounting system.
To search for a particular account, you can type the GL code, account name, type, or category into the Search field. You don’t need to know the full name or code, because Entryless will find all partial matches. For example, if you type “men” into the Search field, Entryless will find “Prepayments”, “Office Equipment”, and “Entertainment” among others.
You cannot modify the Chart of Accounts within Entryless. If you have made changes to the Chart of Accounts in your accounting system and want to perform an update sync, click the Import button and wait a few moments while the import process runs.
Once the synchronization is complete, the Import Results window will show you the results of the import process. Click Finish when you’re done.
