Your chart of accounts is key to Entryless’ relationship with your cloud accounting. Entryless makes it easy to view your chart of accounts without having to switch over to your accounting system, as well as perform an on-demand synchronization from your cloud accounting system.
To manage expense accounts in Entryless, in the sidebar menu on the left side, select Settings, then click on Company Settings > Accounting. You’ll see the full chart of accounts from the last sync with your accounting system.
To search for a particular account, you can type the GL code, account name, type, or category into the Search field. You don’t need to know the full name or code, because Entryless will find all partial matches. For example, if you type “men” into the Search field, Entryless will find “Prepayments”, “Office Equipment”, and “Entertainment” among others.
You cannot modify the Chart of Accounts within Entryless. If you have made changes to the Chart of Accounts in your accounting system and want to perform an update sync, go to the sidebar menu on the left side and click on Cloud Sync, then select the "Update Account Data" button to start the two-way sync between Entryless and your Cloud Accounting software.
Once the synchronization is complete, after a few minutes, you will be able to see the imported information in your the Accounting tab.
